A non-fiction book by Jason Chin about the universe and our place in it. The book starts off comparing the largest living and non-living things on earth. It goes on to compare the distance of the earth to the moon and then the planets from earth. Chin describes how long it would take to get to each planet, the sun, and other galaxies. For example, it would take 20 years to travel from the earth to the sun at 500 miles per hour in a jet plane. Also, the author describes the universe by explaining how each galaxy is interconnected along with the different types of galaxy groups. Chin does a phenomenal job in describing the expanse of the universe and our place in this incredibly immense universe. Teachers can use this book as a science lesson to educate about the size of the universe.
