It's a Book

A picture book for elementary students written and illustrated by Lane Smith. Teachers and parents can use this book for young children to entertain as well as teach about the differences between books and computers. The illustrations and characters are gentle and inviting with colors that do the same. The book has three characters a mouse, a jackass, and a monkey. The monkey shows the jackass a book and the jackass questions whether the book can blog, scroll down, or have a mouse. The monkey just keeps repeating the same thing until the jackass resolves to read the book. The comical style is sure to keep children reading this book over and over.
