Blog readers or feeder readers are a useful tool for people who want to keep up with their favorite blogs all in one place. Out of all the blog readers I tested Feedly was the best. It was user-friendly based on the design and easy to search for interesting blogs. The design has plenty of white space and easy to read font. Also, it was easy to sign up for just by using my google account.

As soon as you log in you can click on a plus sign on the left side of the screen and start searching for blogs that include everything from travel, retail, industries, education, to gaming. Out of all the blog readers tested Feedly was the best because it had a database of the most keywords and brought up the most results. This was the main reason for picking this blog reader because it provides convenience to discovering a new blog as well as ease in adding a favorite blog. Someone looking for a specific subject can set up a keyword alert to be notified whenever that subject is mentioned in any blog. Similarly, readers can connect to Websites, Twitter, Reddit, and Newsletters which allows the reader to follow searches or communities.

Once you decide what subject you want to follow you can create a folder for the subjects you want to follow. The great thing about creating individual folders is that each folder can be whatever interest the user decides. This organization is what makes this blog reader so user-friendly.

The amount of little features within Feedly is huge. But one of the most useful ones is creating boards that contain blogs you may want others to view. For example, teachers can create boards for individual classes or a student may create a board to follow certain blogs for a class. Likewise, someone wanting to do leisure reading on a favorite subject will find Feedly{s boards very helpful.

Other feed readers like Inoreader and Newsblur are great alternatives for organizing one's blogs. Although they lack quality search capabilities for finding blogs and I would recommend just using google to find a blog that interests you. Yet, their designs are wonderfully user-friendly and I would use these only if you dislike Feedly.

The third tier of feed readers includes Feedreader Online, Feeder, and Good News. I call these feed readers third-tier because the designs feel like something designed from ten to fifteen years ago, meaning it's going to cause a lot of frustration in terms of trying to organize. Also, they lack any decent search features.

I too enjoyed Feedly the most out of the feed readers available. The folder and board feature truly is the best organizational traits of this reader.

Great blog on blog readers. I didn't know about these until recently as well and Feedly is great. Love that you mentioned that it has a database of keywords to search. This seems like a great starting point for someone who is new to these. Love the folder concept as well. This helps a person like me who has trouble keeping just my desktop organized, so this will help keep all the blogs I'm following a little more organized.
